I've missed the boat to contribute toward the official pledge, but none the less it's an excellent way to focus attention on the many talented female filmmakers around the world and increase my own awareness of their work. I plan to list the films here starting November 2019. I will also highlight the films that fit within the Bechdel Test's (https://bechdeltest.com/) measure of representation of women. The test names the following three criteria: (1) it has to have at least two [named] women in it, who (2) who talk to each other, about (3) something besides a man.
